It is probably the goal of any craps player to win and win it big in playing craps. After all, if you're not playing for money or for fun, you might as well not play at all. Many craps players look for strategies and tips used by other players in playing craps. They ask what the best combination of craps bets is. Some even follow certain practices or superstitions that supposedly makes them lucky.

In my opinion, all of this is futile since there is really no statistical or mathematical strategy that would guarantee a craps player he'll win. The only thing anyone can do is to know their odds and take it from their.

When I say odds, I mean the odds or the chances of you, the craps player, winning or losing against the casino house advantage. It is important, especially for your bankroll, to know the optimal and disastrous craps bets out there.

When I say house percentage advantage, I mean the expected money loss over the total money you wagered. It has been said that betting the minimum in a craps table will deliver the slowest speed in terms of the average of your losses.

The buy 4 and buy 10 craps bets with house advantage of 1.67% is only a good bet if the commission is given only if the bet wins.

All the other craps bets are considered bad bets as they lose from three to twelve times faster than the good bets on average.

The Any 7 bet, ironically, is considered the worst craps bet of all with as high as 16.67% house percentage advantage and an expected loss of over $1667 in 1000 bets of $10.
