Superstitious Craps

Another belief in the game of craps states that a player should not let his hands wander at the edge of the table. This is to prevent the dice from hitting the hand of the player. If this happens, many craps players believed that the next roll of the dice will result to seven.

Seasoned craps players also take note of the behavior of the stickman and other casino employees. They believed that if the stickman was changed during the game, the next roll of the die will result to seven. The same value of the dice roll will result if the stickman pushes the dice in front of the player having a face value equivalent to seven. Also, if a cocktail waitress approached the craps table, a seven will result in the dice roll.

It is also believed in the game of craps that someone who wishes to play the game, he should not be the first or the only one playing at the craps table. The dice is still "cold" in this case and will likely cause a bad roll. The dice should be "warmed up" first before it can produce good results in the dice roll.

Last but not the least, it is a must for craps players to restrain themselves from saying the word "seven". Craps players believed that the dice can hear the players. So to prevent a dice roll resulting to seven, refrain form saying the word and refer to it as something else. Positive words should be uttered to produce better results in the game of craps.
